Planned Gifts

You can create your legacy through Planned Giving. Planned Giving allows individuals to make a lasting impact on people’s lives through the services that MVHS provides to the community. By including a charitable bequest in your will, you will help MVHS continue our tradition of caring.

Gifts of cash, appreciated securities and real property are appreciated. If you would like more information on Planned Giving, please contact the Foundation office at 315-624-5608.

Honor/Memorial Programs

Caring Heart Program

Sometimes it just comes down to a certain someone who makes your hospital stay a little bit brighter. Someone who really is interested in how you are doing. You can make a donation in honor of a MVHS physician, nurse or staff member who made a difference to you, share your story and ensure he or she is recognized for their outstanding care.

Annual Giving Opportunities

Keith A. Fenstemacher Center for Continuous Learning

You can help make MVHS a more valuable, educational resource to our community. The Keith A. Fenstemacher (KAF) Center for Continuous Learning allows MVHS to provide a structured framework that supports learning opportunities, seeks funding for educational initiatives on an ongoing basis and partners with hospital and community members to build a better future for all of us. To learn how you can make a difference to the KAF Center for Continuous Learning, contact the Foundation at 315-624-5608.

Partners in Giving

The MVHS Partners in Giving Program builds philanthropic partnerships with local corporations and foundations. This partnership allows MVHS to grow and enhance programs and services, and is a great way to let your customers and employees know that your business invests in quality healthcare in our community. Each year, dozens of local organizations participate in the Partners in Giving Program. Our Foundations receive financial commitments we know we can count on and donors can participate in annual Foundation programs and events. Our Foundation team can help design a program that meets your philanthropic and marketing goals, while providing your business with recognition and visibility.

Stomp Out Cancer Telethon

The Stomp Out Cancer (SOC) Telethon is making a local difference, thanks to your generosity. The SOC Telethon is an annual event on WKTV NewsChannel 2 and CBS Utica. From Our Dedicated Business Partners

GPO Federal Credit Union

“At GPO Federal Credit Union, we recognize the impact that MVHS has on our community, offering quality care to our employees and our loved ones, and providing employment to our friends and neighbors. GPO has, and will continue to be, a proud Foundation business partner, as well as a proud financial partner to MVHS employees. Both GPO and MVHS live by the core philosophy of ‘people helping people,’ so just as MVHS is there for us in our time of need, we’re happy to be there to support it…whether it be helping at the Foundation Golf Open, funding the remodeling of a waiting room or serving hospital staff from our on-site branch and ATMs, GPO will continue to support MVHS for years to come.”

Nick Mahew, President
GPO Federal Credit Union

Northland Communications

“Northland Communications has had a long-standing relationship with the Foundations that today make up MVHS. We do this because we believe the level of care, expertise and commitment provided by MVHS is not often seen in communities of our size. This belief is only strengthened by the efforts to bring a new, state of the art hospital to downtown Utica to serve generations to come.”

James P. McCarthy, President
Northland Communications
