UTICA, N.Y. – On December 22, 2017, the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Cancer Center received a donation from the employees of JETNET in Utica, New York, for the purchase of camisoles to be used by breast cancer patients prior to having surgery.
JETNET employees took the opportunity to donate to the Cancer Center in memory of Carmelita Esposito, a former patient, and to benefit the members of the community who are treated kindly and compassionately by the staff throughout their treatment process.
“I truly appreciate the kindness and generosity of the employees at JETNET,” said Nancy Butcher, MBA, executive director of Cancer Services at MVHS. “Prior to breast cancer surgery, the patients receive an undergarment that they will need following their procedure. The donation of the camisoles for these women is greatly valued and will benefit many women in our community.”
