UTICA, N.Y. – Deanna Eychner, LPN, CHT, has been named program manager of MVHS Advanced Wound Care. In this role, Eychner is responsible for developing and maintaining policies and procedures, preparing annual capital, salary and operational budgets, audits and clinic operations.
Eychner has been employed at the St. Elizabeth Campus since 2010, serving as a Wound Care Clinic-certified hyperbaric technologist and safety director. Prior to joining MVHS, Eychner worked as a charge nurse for Lutheran Care Ministries in Clinton, New York. She also worked as a charge nurse at the Betsy Ross Nursing Facility in Rome, New York and for Turbine Engine Components Technology in Whitesboro, New York, as a safety administrator/health nurse.
Eychner received her nurse assistant certification at Lutheran Care Ministries in Clinton. She went on to receive a national certification as a hyperbaric technologist from the Diversified Clinical Services. Eychner also received her practical nurse license from Oneida County BOCES in Verona, New York.
