The Resident will provide emergency on-call coverage on a scheduled rotation basis. Each rotation typically begins on a Friday and ends the following Friday but the exact days may vary depending on holidays. At times when the Resident is on-call, he/she must carry a hospital issued cell phone and must remain within the immediate Utica area. The Resident must respond to a page as soon as possible, but in no event within more than twenty (20) minutes.
