Nay Linn Aung, MD, BC-ADM

Dr Nay Linn Aung MD, BC-ADM is a graduate of St. Elizabeth Family Medicine residency program of Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) in Utica NY and diabetes fellowship program at East Carolina University in Greenville NC. After fellowship training, Dr Aung joined MVHS as a primary care diabetologist. In this role, he is managing patients with diabetes in an outpatient setting as well as covering inpatient consult along with endocrinologist. He also served as a faculty in St Elizabeth Family Medicine Center where he created two years diabetes sub track special training. He also taught diabetes management to pharmacy residents, podiatry residents and medical students. He created Virtual Glucose Management Service (VGMS) which helped primary care teams in managing blood glucose for hospitalized patients. He has been serving as a co-leader in Glycemic Management Team (GMT) which is a quality improvement team for hospitalized patients with diabetes. Dr Aung has volunteered in American Diabetes Association (ADA)’s initiatives such as Overcoming Therapeutic Inertia, Know Diabetes By Heart. He is in the editorial board of clinical diabetes journal, ADA’s journal for primary care community. He also participated as a speaker in some of the ADA and NYSAFP webinars.

Dr. Dayal Raja, MD, FACE

Board Certified Endocrinologist

Dr. Raja completed his fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA and the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.   He graduated from the highly competitive Mercer University Internal Medicine program in Georgia where he also served as Chief Resident. He also completed an Internship in Emergency Medicine at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, an affiliate of Albert Einstein University.

He grew up in New York City and after completing his training decided to move back to New York to be closer to family.

His first job as an Endocrinologist was in private practice at a large multi-specialty group, the Slocum-Dickson Medical Group in New Hartford, NY where he currently works, is a Partner/Share holder and also serves on the Board.  He is a Board Certified Endocrinologist and on the ABIM committee involved with writing Endocrine test questions.

Dr. Raja also has privileges at the Wynn Hospital in Utica, NY and does Inpatient Endocrine coverage there.

He was the Chief of Medicine for MVHS and also served on the Medical Executive Committee for MVHS.

Since 2009, Dr. Raja has been involved with training resident physicians, NP/PA students and MD/DO medical students.
