Welcome to the MVHS PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program
Our pharmacy residency program welcomed our first class of residents in July 2023. Having recently achieved ASHP accreditation, our program is based out of the Wynn Hospital, located in the heart of historic downtown Utica, New York.
Prospective residents will join a transforming healthcare organization committed to excellence in regional healthcare. They will be part of an exciting, brand new state-of-the-art facility, which opened in October 2023.
Residents will be an essential part of moving the Pharmacy Department in a new expansive direction where they will be an integral part of multidisciplinary patient care and a valuable member of the healthcare team. With this new facility, the Pharmacy Department will be gearing up for a high degree of computer innovation, distribution and inventory management within our fully-integrated electronic medical record system, Epic.
PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residents at MVHS will be involved in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
