Curriculum
General Surgery: 13 weeks
Elective: 20 weeks
Emergency Medicine: 4 weeks
Inpatient Medicine: 8 weeks
Inpatient Medicine (Night Float): 3 weeks
Ambulatory Clinic: 4 weeks
Vacation: 20 paid days off (must be used during Elective rotation), 5 days for CME
Didactics & Conference:
Transitional Year residents will participate in the same didactics and conferences as their fellow residents in other specialties on the same rotation. This will include: Morning Report, Grand Rounds, M&M, Journal Club, Simulation Lab, etc.
