Types of Sponsorships
MVHS offers a variety of sponsorships for international candidates, these vary depending on your qualifications but here are a few examples:
- H1B – A Non-Immigrant Work Visa
- EB-3 – An Employment Based Immigration Visa
- F1 – An Academic Student Visa
- TN – Available Specifically for Canadian And Mexican Citizens
- Green Card sponsorship

Employment Compensation and Benefits
Working with MVHS affords you many options for benefits and avenues for compensation. We offer competitive wages and offer a variety of voluntary benefits.

Compensation
- Base rates are determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, years of relevant experience and type of licensure. This rate of pay does not include any adjustments for shift differential (evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays) where there may be additional compensation. You will be paid bi-weekly in accordance with the Employer’s normal payroll practices and schedules.
- Our staff is frequently eligible for a variety of different sign-on bonus incentives. The eligibility and amount of any sign on incentive will be determined at the time of offer.

Relocation, Housing, and Transportation
Relocation
In many cases, a relocation package is offered to assist you. This may include airfare, economy flights, and reasonable excess baggage up to a gross amount, less required federal/state withholdings, if any.
Transportation
Initial transportation from an airport, bus or train station can be made available, at no cost to you, with enough advance notice.
Housing
Temporary housing can be made available to you upon arrival for a short term basis, not to exceed six months. If housing is provided directly by the facility, a separate lease agreement will be executed. You can work directly with your Recruiter in Human Resources to discuss this option and availability.
There are numerous housing options available through local relationships with landlords and real estate agents.
Utica and the Mohawk Valley offer many opportunities for housing. Our international recruiter will work directly with you to secure housing before your first day with us!
