Cherine Awad, MD is a Board Certified Pediatrician at the Children’s Health Center in Utica, NY. She have been practicing Pediatrics for 10 years and has practiced Pediatrics in Egypt, Lebanon and the US.
Dr. Awad is fluent in English, Arabic, French and can speak basic Spanish.
Dr. Awad see patients from newborns to 18 years old, and sees patients for well child checkups and also sick visits.
Dr. Awad chose to work at MVHS because of the diversity it endorses, the professionalism and work ethics it provides to its employees and the friendly environment of its workplace. “I love my specialty because it gives me the opportunity to not only care for my patients while they are growing up but also to be there for the parents while caring for their children.”
When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and she also loves to travel.
Dr. Awad is accepting new patients ages 18 and under at the MVHS Children’s Health Center.
Dr. Awad received her Doctor of Medicine from Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt. She has more than 10 years of experience in healthcare in multiple countries including Egypt, Lebanon and the United States.
