My experience at the Wynn was excellent. ER staff were very attentive and my health needs were addressed promptly. As a nurse, I can say that it’s a VERY different experience being a patient. The situation was totally out of my control. Surgery was my only option, and I was scared. Dr. Jacob Miguel spent time to listen to my concerns and provide reassurance to my family and me, which truly meant a lot. Dr Reddy, my anesthesiologist was also lovely and took time to listen and explain everything to us. My OR nurse, Laura was wonderful. She kept me talking so that I really didn’t have time to be nervous. I was on the 6th floor, post operatively for a few days. My floor nurses Jenn, Grace and charge nurse Jenn were also wonderful and very caring. Care staff frequently checked in and asked if I needed anything. They all went the extra mile. My room was always comfortable and clean. Environmental service staff who came to clean my room were pleasant, smiled and always said hello. Lab staff were equally pleasant and kind. I spent a fair amount of time walking the hallway. Staff (regardless of their role) made eye contact, smiled and greeted me. When I was in my room, the unit was surprisingly quiet, so I was able to get rest. I can’t thank you all enough.
