Dr. Picano received his bachelors degree from University of Rochester (Rochester, NY) and his masters degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine (Buffalo, NY). He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Erie County Medical Center (Buffalo , NY) and his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Lahey Clinic Medical Center (Burlington, MA). He completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Harvard Medical School’s Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston, MA) and is certified in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Picano received postgraduate training in Stereotactic Breast Biopsies from the Presbyterian Breast Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
