Prior to joining Palliative Care, Dr. Alfaro-Berg worked as a hospitalist for MVHS. She also worked as a hospitalist at Texas Primary Care, Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Alfaro-Berg earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from New York University in New York, New York, and her medical degree from SUNY-Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
