Mark Crye, MD, has joined the MVHS Cardiothoracic Surgery Group as Director of Thoracic Surgery.
Prior to joining MVHS, Dr. Crye worked as a Thoracic Surgical Oncologist in affiliation with Upstate University Hospital and Crouse in Syracuse, New York. He has more than 14 years of experience.
Dr. Crye’s specialties include minimally invasive procedures of the chest (above the heart) including robotic surgery and treatment of lung and esophageal cancers.
Dr. Crye earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York, and his Doctor of Medicine from State University of New York Upstate Medical University, Syracuse. Dr. Crye completed a residency and a fellowship at Allegheny Health Network Medical Education Consortium, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Crye is board certified in General and Thoracic Surgery and is highly skilled in performing minimally invasive procedures using the da Vinci robotic surgical system.
