Dr. Shaheen received her bachelors degree from Northwestern University (Chicago, IL) and her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School (Chicago, IL). She completed an internship at Columbus-Cabrini Hospital (Chicago, IL) and her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Tufts University (Boston, MA). She completed a fellowship in Breast Imaging at Yale University (New Haven, CT).
Certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
