Dr. Pavelock was raised in Clinton, New York and went on to earn her MD at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, is Poznan, Poland. She then went on to complete her internal medicine residency at NYU-Langone in Brooklyn, New York and completed her fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at SUNY Upstate Medical University, in Syracuse New York.
Dr. Pavelock is certified in endoscopy, colonoscopy, small bowel capsule endoscopy, esophageal manometry/24-hour Ph Prone and the CHR O’Regan painless hemorrhoid banding system. Dr. Pavelock is additionally trained and certified in endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography.
She is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Pavelock is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and is licensed to practice in New York State.
Her clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease, advanced endoscopy and women’s health in gastroenterology.
Dr. Pavelock is fluent in Spanish and Polish.
