Purushottam Lal, MD, has joined the Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) Medical Group, East Utica Medical Office, where he practices as a pediatrician. Dr. Lal earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed a residency in Pediatrics at Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, and a senior residency in Pediatrics at Gold Field Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Ballabhgarh, Haryana, India.
Dr. Lal has more than 20 years of medical experience. He became a pediatrician not only because he loves working with kids but also because today’s healthy children are going to be tomorrow’s healthy adults. Dr. Lal choose MVHS because of the quality of care provided and how diverse and welcoming the community is. He says that people in the Mohawk Valley are family friendly and always willing to go beyond to help.
