Robert J. Scardina, DPM, has joined MVHS as program director of the MVHS Podiatry Residency and director of Outpatient Podiatry Services at the Sister Rose Vincent Family Medicine Center (SRVFMC). Dr. Scardina has privileges at St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare.
Prior to joining MVHS, Dr. Scardina was chief of the Podiatry Services and program director of the Podiatry Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Scardina received his Bachelor of Science degree in pre-medical studies from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana and his medical degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, California. He completed his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a fellowship in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Scardina is a diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American College of Podiatric Medicine.
