Tatyana Misyulya, MD, has joined the St. Elizabeth Medical Group North Utica Office. She provides primary care to patients and patient families, with an emphasis on patient-centered care.
Dr. Misyulya and her family moved from the Ukraine to Utica in 1997, where she began attending classes at Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) and received an Associate Degree in Biology and Chemistry. While attending classes at MVCC, she worked as a medical interpreter for the Mohawk Valley Resource Center for refugees.
Dr. Misyulya is a member of the American Medical Society, the American Academy of Family Practice Physicians, the New York State Medical Society and the County Medical Society.
Dr. Misyulya received her Medical Degree from the Dnepropetrovskaya Medical Academy, Ukraine. She worked as physician in several hospital areas in the Ukraine. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Misyulya was an academic assistant and tutor in General Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Dnepropetrovskaya Medical Academy. She is a graduate of the St. Elizabeth Family Medicine Residency Program, where Dr. Misyulya received the Harold T. Golden, M.D. Memorial Award and the Otorhinolaryngology Award.
