Teresa Martorella, MD, FAAP, earned her Doctor of Medicine from the New York University School of Medicine, New York, New York, and her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences summa cum laude from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She completed a Pediatric residency at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
As a board certified pediatrician, Dr. Martorella does well child checks and sick visits for newborns through 18-year-olds.
She was born and raised in Utica, NY and enjoys taking advantage of all the attractions the Mohawk Valley provides. Some of her highlights include the Utica Zoo, Saranac Brewery, and walking outdoors at Proctor Park and the Root Glen.

When she isn’t working, Dr. Martorella can be found spending time with her family, walking outdoors, or watching reality TV.
Prior to joining the MVHS Medical Group, Dr. Martorella was affiliated with Montefiore Medical Group in the Bronx, New York, as an attending physician in a pediatric clinic.
Board certified in Pediatrics and has teaching experience in conflict resolution and pediatric obesity prevention.
