Prior to joining MVHS, Yager worked as a nurse practioner and chief quality officer at Upstate Family Health Center in Utica. She has 30 years of health care experience, and 10 years of experience as a nurse practitioner.
Yager earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Mohawk Valley Community College and her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing from State University of New York Polytechnic Institute in Utica, New York. She also received training for Hepatitis C treatment at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York.
