Keith Levatino, patient at MVHS Advanced Endoscopy

“I have a condition called Barrett’s esophagus, which causes chronic heartburn, that Dr. Pellecchia has been monitoring for years.

For years, I have had to have a procedure where I am put under so the doctor can examine the affected area with a scope in order to determine if there are any cysts or other serious conditions present.

This was the first year I went to Wynn Hospital for the procedure, and I was so impressed with the entire process from start to finish – it was a great experience, considering the circumstances.

It was extremely easy to get in to the Wynn Hospital entrance, and as a school superintendent, I was immediately put at ease by the presence of security. I felt safe, it was clear where I needed to go, everyone I spoke with greeted me, was kind and all of that helped contribute to an overall sense of calm. And when you’re going in for a procedure – whether it’s routine or not – you definitely want to feel as relaxed as you can be.
I just want to let people know what an impressive facility Wynn Hospital is and what a great job everyone is doing there.

I knew I would be well taken care of that day and any other time going forward, if need be.”
